Stella, Project 85, and the rest of MoMA
July 15th, 2007

I haven’t been back to the MoMA since they reopened it. The Museum looks great and Stella’s exhibit was gigantic. I’d take photos but it wasn’t allowed. Aside from that, photos won’t really do it justice. You really need to just visit this place. BTW, the Project 85 installation was awesome. I have some photos of that and the E-type. You can check it out on my flickr.
Adobe Creative Wall @ Virgin Megastore
July 15th, 2007

I read this article the other day from Gizmodo about the Adobe Creative Suite Wall that acted a bit like Minority Report. It wasn’t that interactive. Maybe it was dark and the sensors weren’t working but we stood there for a bit and nothing really happened.
GTR!

Found this gem while walking around K-town earlier. See more on my Flickr. For those who know very little about this beast, it’s not available in America. Seeing it here in NYC is quite a treat. The steering is on the right side and has the most massive grapefruit shooters for an exhaust. The new version is in testing now and should be out shortly. The new one is suppose to be US Spec’d. I can’t wait till it hits the shores.
iPhone…but not quite yet
June 30th, 2007

So the day finally came. With some help from Bryan, I solidified my place in line for the iPhone at the 5th Ave Apple Store. The line was pleasant and so were the wonderful people we waited with for whom their names escape me at the moment. You can check out the fun times at the Apple Store here and the iPhone unboxing here.
Onto the sad part…my iPhone can’t be activated till tomorrow. Not sure why but I’m porting my number over and I think that may have something to do with it. Josh got his iPhone working in less than 10 minutes…he got a new number from AT&T. Seems like that’s the case for most people in my situation. I just hope that when I wake up my iPhone will work.
I did get a chance earlier to play with Josh’s iPhone. The typing seems to work quite well for my right hand thumbing and not so much for my left unfortunately. I hope that with time and practice that will change for the better.
I also hope that Apple will allow us to change up the main apps (as in whether to display some or not and to add more apps as they roll out). I find the Stock app almost useless. I guess there’s a high enough demand for it. Additionally with iPhone 3rd party apps, I’d like to place them prominently on the main window. If anyone finds a way to do this, feel free to drop me a line.
More entries once my phone is activated. I’m eager to use it.
