Drove through Times Square last night and noticed the mayhem by the Hard Rock Cafe and surrounding blocks. It was a live concert featuring Ozzy Osbourne celebrating the launch of EA’s Madden ‘08. Check the pics out here…

Most of you who know me don’t believe I take the subway. The truth is I do! Just not as much as I should. While on my way to work this morning, I jumped on the Shuttle and noticed all the cars were well decorated in some type of “scape” of sorts. They are the new Westin Hotel ads and this one is of a jungle. The car behind me was fresh water with tropical fish. I don’t know about the rest but I’m gonna try to find out tomorrow when I ride it again.

I have very fond memories of this car. This is the one my uncle taught me how to drive in before I was legally allowed to. The thing is a tank and sounded like one with a 4 cylinder diesel engine. In case any of you are stuck in Diesel limbo, current iterations of cars with this type of fuel are in CDI (Common Rail Diesel Injection) such as certain VWs. There’s also a bunch of automakers that are coming out with Blue(fill in the blank) which are next generation diesels that run quieter, smoother, and faster. I would say MB dominated the diesel market back in the late 70’s to the mid 80’s in the US. Anyways, onto the gallery.

I made a trip to the DMV up on 125th and Lexington this afternoon. The neighborhood was a bit out of my element. I don’t usually venture up to Harlem (aside from dropping off Situ) but like any neighborhood in NYC, it’s always nice to see what’s going on and absorb the culture that’s around. I was a bit famished however so I hit up the McDonald’s on the corner. I ordered a cheeseburger and a milkshake to go….the rest is history. I hope you enjoyed the pic
