Palm’s Pre seem to get all the buzz but the real deal here is webOS. WebOS is the foundation for all the new Palm devices. While netbooks are here to stay and the Pre having to fight the dominant iPhone OS platform, it’s best for them to come out with another device shortly after the launch. Don’t be surprised if Palm pushes out a netbook sometime in the third or fourth quarter. The new “Folio” may be just around the corner.
On another note, why is Mojo SDK still not widely available for everyone? Palm is known for their developer friendliness. They really have to get this out the door sooner than later, especially with iPhone OS 3.0 just around the corner (review of the 3.0 coming soon).
