New Palm OS: ALP 3.0 *yawn*

Lets be really clear on this.  Just because Access, the japanese company who has the code for Garnet and upgraded the shit out of it (using Linux), DOES NOT MEAN it’ll be successful or will even end up showing up on Palm devices.  Palm has their own OS development going on and it’s NOT THIS.  So why is this even relevant?  I really don’t know.  What I do know is that this effort is late and it’ll be an uphill battle for Access to get this OS to really compete with Android, iPhone, WinMo.  I don’t care if DoCoMo is “interested”.  It doesn’t mean anything unless it’s on devices.  I hope it does well but not holding my breath.
