I want to get this (Maybe, but keep reading)! AT&T reception in general sucks (I used to be on Verizon). I get plenty of dropped calls, sometimes even standing still in one spot in mid conversation. Griffin is known for some of the best designed peripherals for the mac, iPod, iPhone, and other Apple products. I have the Elevator and seriously it’s one of the simplest, most elegant solutions you can get to raise your portable. I know it may seem trivial but having a dual monitor set-up I think it’s almost absolutely necessary.
OK, back to the ClearBoost. This is a hard case that has an integrated antenna built into, boosting your bars a bit in dim reception places. I do want this but, and there’s always a but…because it is a signal booster case, it also comes with, yep you guessed it, an external antenna. I don’t have one to review because I’m not a fancy blogger nor some legit news outlet but judging from the pics over at iLounge, the antenna jets out at the top. Hello, it’s 2008. We don’t want nubs or antennas that stick out anymore. So there you have it. It’s a dealbreaker for me. However, if you have spotty reception, like antenna’s from ‘05, or just flat out enjoy absorbing radiation from the iPhone, this may possibly be the best case for the iPhone.
As of this blog post, this case is so fresh that I couldn’t find it on Griffin’s site so go hit up the iLounge link.

Hi Jeff … thanks for the ClearBoost post. Griffin’s website address is http://www.griffintechnology.com. SnapShots seems to be picking up the front page from Griffin Technologies which is a different company.
